Hey LG, we got an unusual Christmas 3" of snow and then ice on top. Portland has only had snow
according to the weather folks 6 times on Christmas. Ground is still white,
but 40s the rest of the week. Happy New Years to all!!!

I know we call ourselves the Idiots... but it takes a special kind of crazy to leave southern Arizona and return to Minnesota for Christmas. One daughter lives here and one returned from China, so Minnesota it is. But Saturday morning we are looking at something like minus 20 Fahrenheit and a minus 40 wind chill. No need to specify F or C on that one, because minus 40 F is the same as minus 40 C and by the time you get to numbers like that, you really don't need to say any more than TOO Frickin' COLD!

But Merry Christmas and Happy New Years to all our friends! Enjoy the joy and warmth of family and friends - and pray for our survival...
