Snow!!

The PNW is getting hit hard with snow!! Yep two days so far but at 32
it's not lasting but more on the way. So much for getting an early start on
the gardens. Last week I was out in short sleeved shirt mowing. Yep I have
mowed three times since the first of the year. Was in the 50s for over a
week.

Another 2 to 3 inches over night after it snowed all day yesterday. At freezing temps so nothing stuck
but over night we dropped to the twenties so it turned to ice and crusty snow. Heads up back east, I'm
sharing this and it's coming your way!! More snow tonight!!

This past week has been a shocker for those of us in the PNW. Still dealing with snow in the
mountains and some on the valley floor. Winter isn't over just yet. The early bloomers are taking
a beating from the frost and the rabbits that come to eat.

We are to get more snow tonight....it's cold, then warm, then cold...you know...LOL takes forever to decide..

All I can say it the groundhogs were right this year!! Come on Spring!! We are having a
cooler and wetter spring.

Don't even talk to us folks on the east coast. Back-to-back-to-back nor'easter-ish system in March. All our snow was finally gone yesterday. We even had to do our meadow burn with some patches of snow on it (and then it snowed on top of the ashes).

The only upside to this is that a moist, delayed spring will mean a lush, delayed summer, so that our hostas look great for the convention in June (as if it were early June instead of June 22).

David, we out west have really been following the snow you all have gotten. How sad you got so many
storms back to back. It's not over yet......they say we may see it on the valley floor here in the next 48 hours.
