Hello I was just wondering if any one else grows carnivorous plants?

Cool pics, but man, I'd be watching a couple those! Are you missing any bodies in your household? I think they might have been swallowed up! Those 'body snatchers' are man eating! LOL

Wow Jeremiah those are amazing! Both the plants and the photos. I have always been fascinated by the venus fly trap, even as a kid. (I know these are not fly traps, but think probably need very similar conditions and care to flourish.) Once I saved up babysitting $$ and got one at the local box store. It was very cool, while it lasted, which wasn't very long. In later years, I got one (again big box store, which was maybe the first mistake) when my son was little and had the same results. Guess I just don't have the knack or know enough about what they need to do well. So my hat's off to you. Very impressive! Jeanne

I ordered pitcher plants from PD last March but then chickened out & canceled the order. There was too much time to think about it before they shipped them.
I don't know anyone who grows them around here. They are awesome plants.

Do you have a fence around those thingies ??
Man they look dangerous. What do they eat ? If it is ants I kow where i could give one a happy home.........
