seen here in the first pic simply getting bigger and bigger, has now disappeared :)
It was simply outgrowing its place, and the flower bed behind it was simply not to be seen
It has since been re-seeded. I am not going to be able to remove the roots easily, so plan to cut across the stump and set a nice large potted plant on top. The area has been fertilised and re seeded today.
It was quite a lot of wortk removing it all I assure you. I did it a little at a time :)

WOW, it sure was a nice looking beast! Too bad it had outgrown it's location.

OMG Sam, you're right, I wouldn't have known there was a flower bed behind that shrub! I can imagine you had quite the time removing it. :o
