mini plants

Post by mommatina »

It seems most everything in my garden it very small this year... I figured the hosta are because of being under the maple tree..... but everything else is just like a minature verison ... I have surprise lilies only 6 inches tall and ready to bloom...hibiscus about 18 inches tall with buds....the only thing that is normal are the roses and they have bloomed more this year than ever... everything started out really good and then just stopped growing.... Could it be the weather? Temps have been in the 90's...and not much rain.. though I have watered... even the vegi garden is the same...

My Lobelia (tall blue kind) are much shorter than usual in the little bog area, as they begin to bloom. Also the hardy Hibiscus are blooming at a shorter-than-usual height.
