They just keep on blooming. That's why I like them so much.

All so pretty. I've never seen Birch's Double, that's a beauty.

Doris- Beautiful geraniums! Since you have so many, maybe you can answer a question for me. I have Geranium oxonianum "Katherine Adele" and am wondering if I should deadhead to keep it blooming? Thanks in advance- Susan

If you have the patience to deadhead Katherine Adele, go ahead. Or, you can wait until she's finished blooming, then cut the whole plant back, keep well watered, and you'll get new foliage and hopefully flowers in a few weeks.

Doris - Remember that itty bitty piece of Georgia Blue you gave me? It's H-U-G-E now... at least 4-5 feet wide, and blooming it's head off. It's truly stunning in the back yard, and though it didn't plan it this way, it has Allium moly blooming around the base of it and the contrast is just stunning. Then I have one of Mike's astrantias behind it that is a soft, pale pink and they look fantastic together. Not sure if Mike is going to get that astrantia back or not LOL!

Anyhow, thanks so much for sharing your geranium addiction with me... I love it!!!

Thanks, Doris :P :P I think I will just wait until it is done blooming and shear it back.

Isn't that just one of the best Geraniums out there, Andi? I finally broke down and divided mine last year, and now I have several large blooming plants! They're such a carefree perennial.

Doris, you seem like the Geranium expert. :D
Do the Geranium seeds come true? I need to know because I'm thinking of trading for some seeds on the other forum. I really would like the certain type she has, but will buy the plant if the seeds don't come true.
Hoping you can help.
Thanks,
Sharon

Sharon, Geranium seeds are variable. Generally, a certain percentage of the seed will come true. If you really want to be certain that you have a particular cultivar, get a plant first. You can always get seed too, and see what happens!
