I thought Aeoniums were supposed to be frost tender, horrible things lived through winter outdoors. I prefer the snakeshead fritillaries on the right.

Clianthus puniceus. There is also a white (alba) version and another plant called Sturt's Desert Pea which makes a nice indoor pot plant.

The label says it is hardy to -5C or 23F.

Beautiful pics! I was surprised to see the Skunk cabbage in a garden...it IS an unusual plant...it grows wild all over here; one of our first Spring bulletins!......p :wink:

Beautiful photos, you will love the pulsatillas! That appears to be headed for picking the seeds when they look like feathers. :wink: Have you seen the red ones?
