Dodecatheon

Post by Gruntfuttock »

I've always wanted a Dodecatheon, and last year I found one at a garden show. I planted it in the rockery tub, and it died, but this year it returned and has two flower spikes and the first flower is out.

I love this little flower.

Pretty little flowers :)

They go dormant not long after flowering, otherwise I would sell them here. But I have a nice little clump in the display garden that seems to get a little bigger each year.

I really like these flowers too. Always wanted one, and now am trying them from seed which is a bit tricky but we'll see, maybe I'll be lucky and get some results. Hopefully some flowers like yours. Thanks for sharing some spring time with us!
