Some people say these are problematic... mine have NEVER self seeded! I still only have the original clump and it is so full it is almost like a ball.
This one is actually darker than the photo. Pretty thing though, I seem to have several that have popped up all over various gardens....
And I love this one! I thought I lost it last year and here it is!

Just give it time on the centaurea, Alexa. I planted them in my sunny perennial garden in 2002 & they behaved nicely for a year or 2. Then I discovered plants in lots of interesting places the next few years. But they're pretty so I usually leave them where they've found new homes. I'm not sure that there are even plants now where I had them to begin with.
