I saw the first Red Dynasty the other day missing. It's right by the road so I assumed somebody walking by decided they wanted a flower. But, it looks just like the ones that got nailed last night. Only difference is that the entire flower in the right foreground was gone. I hear squirrel pie isn't really even all that good.

Grrr... I don't know why the bases of tulip flowers are so tasty.

You could try spreading a bloodmeal-based repellent around the flowers. Spraying the growing buds is always too much trouble.

I never even thought about this being an issue...just never crossed my mind. I'm new at this;)

Squirrels can be a pest. Didn't know they ate Tuilps - good to know. They hate Iris bulbs though.

This year not only have the destroyed the tulips but they also tried to dig up the lily bulbs.

KHT my bulbs are under chicken wire.
