Finally, a decent bloom!

Post by vintagedude »

This summer has been so intensely hot and dry that the roses have been pathetic and sickly all season. Last week it cooled off and started raining and this morning I was shocked by this bloom on my Peace rose.

It's a beauty for sure, Tim!!!

Oddly, despite the intense heat here in late July, my roses seem to have grown much more than any other year and still look wonderful even with the few freezes we've had in the last few weeks. :)

Thank you!
Well you sure must be doing something right! Although your roses may be better established. These are on their second season. We're still a couple of months away from our first good freeze but after that summer I'm looking forward to it!
