The Two Faces of Alexandra?

Post by caliloo »

THis is one of the more interesting single bloomers IMHO. THe flowers in this photo are a day apart in age, the one on the right opened yesterday and the one on the left opened this morning.

Isn't the range of colors amazing?

Oh, how pretty! It's almost like having two different roses blooming. Very   !

VEry nice! Is this a shrub type? Like the ever-blooming kind? I'm looking for something that blooms a long time and that's pretty!

Thanks everyone!

Jane - it is a David Austin rose and yes it repeat blooms. I don;t know if I would call it everblooming since it tends to bloom in flushes.

It is also one of the most blackspot resistant roses in my garden.

Thanks againg for looking!
