Unknown bird sound

Post by redcrx »

Can anyone ID this bird. When I first hear it today it sounded like a horse whinnying.

I don't know my birds that well, Ed. There are a couple around here I can't identify either. I might have to take your lead and post the sound myself.

Good luck - have you seen this bird or just hear it?

Hi Chris, I only hear it. As I move toward it the sound moves and swings around to my side but I don't see any movement (and I'm pretty good at seeing movement).

Here another clip I got about 7:15 in the evening.

As I moved toward the sound it swung to my right and then was in the next yard.
