This is the first couple of blooms ... It is considered a double which usually starts to happen with the second or third bloom ... you can see one extra tepal ...

Love that Forsyth Flying Dragon! I've seen other pics with distinct white down the center of the petals like that. Is there a name for that?

I don't recall a specific term for the white midrib on the daylily tepals or sepals ... It makes for a striking flower though ...
