ID?

Post by downsouthWDE »

Hi all. I was given some daylilies at the end of last summer, and was told that they "should be red". Well, they are red alright. 8-) Can you tell me the name of these? Thanks for your help.

I have the same problem, I don't know what's the name of these daylilies in my backyard. It has many flowering buds now, when it opens, I will upload, hopefully, someone might be able to ID.

It is very hard to ID daylilies from a photo because there are over 60,000 registered cultivators and so many look very similar.

That is one the old coot named John knows that name by heart. It is the common natural Orange Daylily. You see them everywhere. If you are seeing them now, some one (or a bird) planted that seed a long time ago.[/b
