Midnight Magic, Patricia Fay, White Fantasy....

Post by Snow »

Midnight Magic - VERY difficult to photograph that dark color. I like it though - it's looking really good next to the brown-eyed-susans. Patricia Fay - a small, slender dark pink. I like it. White Fantasy - the fantasy here is that someone thinks this is white

Midnight Magic is a stunner!
I know what you mean about trying to get the dark colors to photograph ... my flash keeps wanting to go off and when it does it just washes out the color. The Night Wings I have never shows as dark with or without the flash ...

Oooh, Patricia Fay is wonderful. I like the form and the color. Has it been a good grower for you? I know what you mean about trying to capture the colors of the darker ones. My Strutters Ball is beautiful this year, but all the pics I've taken don't do it justice.

Patricia Fay is "young" still - and needs to be moved to a better spot. I know Leafy had it growing in nice large clumps. I just purchased Strutter's Ball from Chris!

I agree the dark ones are hard to photograph realisticly. I love the colors on that one. I got Mystery Black this year and was anxious to see it bloom, but the bunnies got it before it opened. I love my Strutters Ball too and it blooms for such a long time and is a great grower............jackie
