I don't think your camera is really that bad...colors are good and focus is good - might just be a little film on the lens. Try some lens cleaner on it, you might end up with "a new camera";) Use a lint-free cloth, not a paper towel or cotton - a micro-fiber cloth or lens tissue that comes with the cleaning solution is best.

Thanks Jerry-I have a microfiber cloth and will try it-cheaper than buying a new camera. :D

Actually, the pictures aren't that bad...they are all in sharp focus and the colors are good. It just seems like they have a softness to them...sometimes photographers intentionally do that for effect using a small amount of Vaseline on a clear filter (the clear filter is 'cuz nobody really wants to do that to a good lens). It tends to also give a bit of a halo to highlights (white flowers would be most susceptible). I think the oil from your fingers will provide the same effect on a camera with a small lens. I do think that last picture has less of that. They're certainly good enough to show off the color and look for a particular one...I'm going to the garden center to find an "I have no clue" this afternoon;)

Thanks Jerry-hope u find "I have no clue" and let me know the name of it. I have searched every daylily site including AHA and I have had no luck-originally I thought I put Stella d'oro there, but thats certainly not Stella. I'll keep on searching.
