Crunchy Coleslaw Salad

Post by ConnieD »

Here is the recipe for the Crunchy Coleslaw that you all enjoyed at the Hallson gathering at Trudy's house.
Package of Ramen Chicken Noodles
1/2 cup sesame seeds
2 oz slivered almonds
1/3 cup oil
1/3 cup sugar
1 bag of coleslaw mix
Take pkg. noodles and break up on cookie sheet, remove seasoing pack. Add slivered almonds and toast in oven till light tan.
Mix oil, sugar and seasoning.
I like to mix everything together at the last minute as it will not be as crunchy if you make it the day before.
If you are taking to a picnic and it will be several hours before you eat, just put the dry items in a plastic bag, the oil in a small container and mix right before serving as I did.
Works great and everyone loves it.
