Hens and chicks have male and female plants. I wonder if my male plant got a little excited because he is sitting near a pair of Fan Dance rs. By the way the male dies after he blooms.

I have one that does that every year. I didn't know it was a M/F thing.. I thought I just had an odd plant.

I will post photos if it ever stops raining here.... Cindy go away! LOL!

:lol: at Ron! I didn't know that either about the male and female thing. Guess mine are all girs cuz I've never seen them look anything like that!

Well, I sure didn't know about the male/female thing on hens & chicks.... I knew they died, but not that it was a male..... :roll: ....I have 3 different ones blooming right now....Hey Ron, why is this in the hosta forum....:hmm:....:lol:
