Cutting experiment

As an experiment I took a cutting from one of my epiphyllums about two years ago just to see how easy it would be.

Here it is today, and yes, it was easy.

very beautiful! The leaves look a little like Christmas Cactus. Any relation? I can grow Christmas Cactus...so anything resembling that would be good for me.

Yes, they are related. The leaves are much longer.

The flowers have a similarity too except these epi flowers are 4" across

Great Job 7 Congrats Gruntfuttock!! We currently have a couple of shelves of these from our hanging pots. Ya know you move them and ooops a part falls off so ya lay them aside. Ya come back in a week and stick it in dirt, ta da new plant!
The one like yours above in the other post??? The one I was showing the ladies that stop all the time how to hybridize, well we got a seedpod on our first attempt!! I found the seedpod had dropped and now I have seeds drying!!
