Sempervivum pics

Post by Garden_of_Mu »

I was going thru pics today and found some new shots of semps from the garden. they are really liking the sharp drainage and the rock walls they have here. but I'm missing the massive size they put on at the last place in the rich soil.

So, Mike. What is more important to you? Size or longevity. Rich soil is great for size but shortens life on this plant. Lean, sharp draining soil may not make great big plants but they are far hardier.

Speaking of size and longevity, thanks for the pics you posted for me!
