Wow! Wow! Wow! Your Japenese garden is absolutely marvelous! I think the Japenese garden at the Montreal Botanical Garden is not even as beautiful as your's! When I look at yours pictures, I really feel like your garden is in Japan, not in UK!

George San, total respect, you were born in the wrong country. That is one amazing garden.

When confronted by a difficult problem, you can solve it more easily by reducing it to the question, "How would the Lone Ranger handle this?"

George - great article and well deserved too. Such a premier garden you have. I've wandered through your garden quite a few times in the past months in my attempts to familiarize myself with the Japanese style.

Darndest thing though - the perspective pictures give. The sizes of your areas look different from one picture to the next. I'm curious as to dimensions of certain areas.

Hi,
What you see is all confined to an area 70ft X35 ft and that includes the pond in fact everything.

How did I miss this!?!

Such a wonderful time I have just had visiting your garden! Thanks for inviting me in!

I am visiting Portland, Or. again this week (from Mi.) and plan on visiting the Japanese Gardens for the 4th time. Coming from a background of abundant perennial gardens overflowing with blossoms, the obvious difference moves me to my soul.

I think I may also go to the Chinese Gardens there in Portland....I'm anxious to see the difference.

Again, thanks so much for sharing your beautiful garden!.....p
