This is the second Lytch Gate that I've seen in Victoria since I started taking afternoon exercise walks.
At least, I at first assumed it was a Lytch Gate. But looking at the construction - the posts and beams that seem to be of natural tree trunks rather than machined wood - I've begun to wonder if the owners didn't intend a Lytch Gate, but a Japanese-style roofed gate? Whichever they had in mind, I like it.

That would certainly not be out of place in a Japanese Garden with a little alteration

Herb thats a very nice gate it reminds me of the entrance to a little country church. But it could certainly become Japanese style with a lttle touch here and there.

When confronted by a difficult problem, you can solve it more easily by reducing it to the question, "How would the Lone Ranger handle this?"
