Your pictures are fascinating. It sounds like you may be somewhere near Garstang - I think the climate there's pretty well ideal for a Japanese garden.

Herb, we are about 20 miles from Garstang and live on the edges of Rivington / Bolton

I do try my best, which can sometimes be difficult after spending all day on computers (I'm a graphic designer) pity the pay does not reflect that LOL.

Thanks for your compliments Mike.
With the amount of rain that we experience we have found that the shelter needs to ideally be a couple of feet deeper to give a bit more protection. We intend to design a new one and build this next spring.
