I hollered at DS to bring the camera and while waiting decided to weed the bed. Yep....my big arse bumped the bloom and decimated it!
It has at least one more bud on it so hopefully I'll get to post a pic of it in a few days.Well poop!

I went out back to check the Iris beds after work this afternoon and was greeted by a spectacular Iris that had never bloomed for me before. It's name is Peace Child.

I know the feeling. I had a daylily last year with only two buds and I bumped one off with my arm while planting another one. I was glad I at least got to see one bud open.
Looking forward to your pic when the next bud opens.
