Bloom on my Suaveolens

Post by MikeyBob »

This is my little species iris called suaveolens v. rubromarginata. It bloomed for the first time yesterday. It was the end of the day and for this shot I tried holding the bloom up to the sky and using the flash. The color is off and too bright, but I thought it was a good picture anyway. That's the moon to the right of the flower.
