I have three different varieties of them up and blooming - along with alot of other stuff too. I can't believe how early everything is this year!!

Up and blooming ?? our ground is still frozen. Sure hope that it happens here too............

Hey Old Coot - Word of advice. Clean all that leafy debris off the irises before the temps hit 70 or you risk getting iris borers. They are the larva of a moth that lays it's eggs in the debris. In spring the larva hatch and eat down into the rhizome causing it to rot. They are a problem in the east, south and parts of the midwest.

b ugt I hated to do it and take a chance on another freeze. Howevedfr, the weather is warming up some now I this week-end is supposed to be sunny, so I might just wook out in the yarfd if it isn't too cold...

Thanks for the advise. Haven't ever seenone down here, but I usually c t foliage back. These were new and I just let them go...
