Hallson Gardens

This beauty has been absent from my garden since I lost my goldfish pond several years ago. I started seeing iris leaves last year, next to where the pond used to be (it's not a large compost pile). This year I noticed flowers coming, and I so hoped it was my Japanese Iris, although I could not imagine how it came back after all this time. It did! The first flowers were almost pure white, and it's been blooming ever since. I could not be happier with this surprise.
