I'm feeling like Midas!

Post by KellieD »

My DH bought me a greenhouse the end of February and we are in the process of getting it erected. The foundation work is done (thank goodness!) and the framework is next!

I think I can have tons of fun with an 8' x 12' with all the bells and whistles, don't you?!! :D

If I can ever figure out how, I'll post pictures of the progress.

No kidding! Just think how much fun I'll have outgrowing it.

Costco.com was running an early spring special on this particular one and it ended up being $500 less than the manufacturer sells plus Costco adds tons of extras above and beyond the greenhouse itself.
Makes my previous greenhouse (6'x 6') seem inky dinky!

Oh, you know I wish I was there right now!!! This week is spring break for us. If it weren't for the fact that Tori has two taekwondo demonstrations this week, we'd be in the car right now headed for your place!!!!

But you know I'll get down there sometime before school is out for the year to play in the greenhouse, or if it's not done, to help put it together. Oh, and of course, I'll have to take John out for an ice cream :) :) :)

Gravel and pavers get put in the foundation footprint tomorrow and then we can start playing erector set!! :D

I won't be working as many hours in April so the assembly should go quicker than the prep work has.

Andi, you have to come down and help me post pictures of the greenhouse to this forum! :hmm:

The amount of space you need is directly proportional to the amount of space you've got + x
You'll have a great time in there.

Do you know how to attach them to an email? I could do the shrink for you if you'd like and attach them to the post, if you can send them to me?

Well Kellie :( Rather than shrinking it to fit the boards, I really needed to enlarge it and without my own puter, I can't do that! :( I don't have my photo program on thislaptop, sorry. But here's the picture as you sent it to me :) Hope this is better than nothing at this time! :)

Can't wait to see the current progress on your greenhous! :)
