Seeds, seeds, glorious seeds! So grateful for them this time of year!
I have hosta seeds planted - lots of them. I also got some daylily seeds from Sharon's fundraiser offer and will start those next week. Then on to other perennials soon after that! Have to check what I have in the crisper!

KellieD, that is great news I hope? I was eyeing the one on CL that had 2,000 square feet and when I showed DH, he just so I guess I'll stick with all the seeds on the formal diningroom table as there is no room in the GHs. You will have to share photos when you get it up and running. How is everything else going?

I decided to actually do seeds in a big way this spring
I usually just plant some perennial seeds in the early spring for thenext year, but this year I brought in quite a few of my more unusual annual plants from the garden and will be doing massive amounts of cuttings to bed out.
I built a 4 tier seed starting rack based on one I saw in Fine Gardening (online).
I have some daylilies started sitting in my window sills, but am going to get the lights all hooked up on my rack in the next weeks.
I was at a Jung's outlet and bought the variety packs of heirloom tomatoes and baby cabbage.
I am also doing some sedum cuttings of this one that is small, blue, and bumpy and only about 1" tall for a friend to plant out around her flagstone in her patio.
I figure my rack is big enough to do 16 flats+ a few pots of stuff.
I am going all out. I have even been thinking of doing some lettuce and radishes as an indoor crop when I have room simply because of the cost of fresh veggies here in the frozen WI tundra. With the snow we have gotten I think the ground will be free of snow about June 10th!!

Re: Whom Has Started Planting Seeds??
A week ago, I started gourds and nastursiums. I have alot more seeds to start but it's not heating up enough to leave in the greenhouse. I'm looking forward to spring. Later, Love, Lisa
Have I mentioned lately that my drinking team has a hosta problem?

I have tomatoes and peppers going inside..
I Wintersow and so far I have Larkspur, slavia, agastache, 3 types of rudbeckias, cleome, Milkweed and zebra mallow started. Still have tender annuals to do yet and some herbs to attract butterflies.
