Most of you know that I have numerous adopted indoor cats and that I also feed and care for several outdoor strays. I bring them in to the garage on cold winter nights where we keep food ,water, a small heater, and blankets for them. During the day I leave the garage door open a bit so they can come and go and get out of the nasty weather. Fuzzy Bear prefers to be outside, but then again, he has more fur than the rest of them so probably stays warmer than they do. Here is a picture of him. I think he's a handsome big boy and I love his large golden eyes. He's also a big baby!! Loves to crawl in your lap and be petted on. He gets so contented that he drools on you.

Well OED, I knew who Buster Brown was and his dog, Tighe, but never knew there was a cat in the show. Actually I didn't know there was a show. I just remember Buster Brown selling shoes in the commercials.
Does that mean I'm not old?

Very cute picture, Joan. It is so wonderful of you to care for even the feral cats.
Buster Brown, hmmm can't say I remember the show, but I think I do remember the commercials. Yep, Joan, that definitely means we are not old.

DH remembers the show! I forgot to ask my sister about it. She is the same age as DH. I'm sure I remember her talking about Midnight the cat. I think it was called The Buster Brown Show. Yep, here are a couple of links I found.

I was just thinking about apologizing for hijacking Joan's post too. Sorry Joan! You might get a laugh if you check out those sites though. I did.

Oh please don't apologize!!! I don't mind in the least when a post like this goes off on a tangent. I usually find that I learn something valuable when it does. And if it's not considered valuable now, it might be something trivial that later comes in handy....like on Jeopardy or playing a game of Trivial Pursuit!
I'll be ready now for the Buster Brown category.
