We've had a name change. Andy was NEVER crazy about the name "Butter". I was CRAZY about it but couldn't sell him. We compromised. His offical AKC registered name will be Butter scotch beauty but his call name will be "Scutter". It's a spin off of the pig latin name for butter scotch. He sure is developing a personality. He's having sucess making it outdoor to do his business. We've been introducing him to new critters. He's gotten close and personal with the two kitties that live upstairs. 3 min pins, Fred the lab something. Saw Jack the old police dog from his side of the fence. He ran for the door. So far in the last two days, he's met 5 cats and 5 dogs. I know he's tired enough to sleep to at least 2 am tonight. Maybe I'll drop him off at the vet today for the once over. Besides, I hate to crate train this free spirit while I'm at work tomorrow. I gotta research a doggy day care. Later, Love, Lisa

The new baby met my mom. It was comical to see that puppy lick her face and hear my mom giggle. She'll be 94 next week and an official antique. She didn't even ask about the "other" dog. She loved her puppy visit. During my mother's shower, Scutter came in for some h20. What else would I be doing at 5:24 in the am? I know he won't know that tomorrow is a weekend and he can sleep in. I guess there's a fun reason to lose some sleep. Later, Love, Lisa

Scutters making gains in the cat dept too. The cat that sleeps with me is back, even though the puppy sleep in bed with us. Granted I'm not getting alot of hours uninterupted but we haven't had any potty accidents either. Thanks for all the fun "cute puppy" comments. You won't get an argument out of me. Later, Love, Lisa

Scutter and Golda look like a matched set! She looks like a nice calm kitty to be tolerating a new puppy that well so soon. Both are pretty babies! :)

Great pics, Lisa. I love your new baby, and the pics of him with your mom are just too precious for words. It looks like he's settling in to the household just fine.
Thanks so much for sharing your joy! It's almost as good as having a new puppy, minus the sleep deprivation.

He is growing fast. It's two weeks ago today that he's been ours. Today he weighed 13 lbs 6 oz. , He's gained 4lbs and 4 oz in the last two weeks. I had to buy more puppy chow today. That's my partner in hosta crime's husband, Jim he's necking there. Later, Love, Lisa
