My cat Pandora

Post by hostadad »

I couldn't resist these pictures of Pandora. From time to time I like to show her off. She's a house cat, but in the summer we take her outside to prowl around while we follower her. She finally ends up laying in the grass soaking up all the odors and watching the wildlife show. Like a tranquilizer I find her calming and soothing to hold and pet.

David.

 Cute pics! Is she miserable in this heat as we are? What a heavy coat she has! Love that first pic, she appears to not like the hold, but is enjoying that second one! She looks to be saying, come hither! :D

She's beautiful!! And big!! Of course, it could be mostly fur. How much does she weigh?
The largest cat I've ever seen in person is my co-worker's cat. She is a whopping 30 lbs!
Your Pandora sounds a bit like my Buttercup. Buttercup is an indoor cat, but has now taken to jumping out the door every time it's open. I think she's really trying to escape from the three boys. She is getting older now and I notice she likes to lay down in the grass and chew on a few blades of grass. I think I'm going to have DH construct her an upsidedown "playpen" of sorts , so we can have her outside with us. She would enjoy that.

Is she a Maine Coon? I bet she looks good against the blue hostas. :)

She is a Himilayan and not that heavy, it's all fur. She doesn't seem to mind the heat. She finds cool spots to sit in. The weather sometimes reaches the 90's but doesn't stay around long.

My, what a big fuzzy girl she is. I just love a big kitty, and she is very pretty on top of it.
