Hypertuffa

Post by Bob Scott »

Does anyone know how long this stuff will last outdoors, used as a pot for plants?
Looks very interesting and I'm thinking of doing a little sculpting in the stuff after being away from the arts for more then a few years.
It will be the Hypertuffa or this type of work in concrete. http://fauxboisinconcrete.blogspot.com/
I all depends on the longevity of the Hypertuffa.

Do not know about pots, but I have stepping stones more than 8 years old

the edges break off if they are to fine.. other wise, they are still just fine

I made one in '96 or '97, with peat, perlite and concrete. It's still holding together.
