I do have a perennial - lily

Post by Pandora »

I was just given this lily a few weeks ago. She said she had dozens and was getting rid of some. Boy, I wish she had given me a couple more.

I don't know the name. If you have any ideas, let me know. Wow! is it tall, with a stem bigger around than your thumb, and the flower is soooooo fragrant.

Reminds me of an Oriental x Trumpet hybrid. This is an OT lily called Early Yellow. Other than the spots they are similar.

I'd be pretty sure from the picture , that it's a hardy one and perennial, but couldn't say what variety it is.
