I went out yesterday to get a picture of the Bloodroot only to find them closed up for the night! The Dutchman's Breeches will have to do...

Dicentra 'Gold Heart' quickly became a favorite hosta companion. Makes a great contrast with the blues. Too bad it doesn't have a better backdrop than an ugly cement foundation

Not a shade plant...a saxifrage in the rock garden. Still kind of flat from winter.

Thanks for the comments, everyone. It's been cool and rainy the last two days. Once it warms back up, lots of things should be popping up!
