Another of my favorite epimediums... Huge flowers for the size of the plant.

Got this last year, but didn't get to see it bloom. This is a really nice evergreen epi.

Started this from seed just over a year ago and it's growing into a monster. Can't wait to see the flowers on this one.

I haven't seen the blooms yet, but the leaves are fantastic.

Mmmmm... love the trilliums. Thanks Chris for letting us get in on that order with you! Every one of the trilliums I got is doing wonderfully.

Those are some great pictures. I am an epimedium fan too.

Andi,

Where did you get your Ligularia japonica seeds, and did you have problems with germination? I have some Ligularia dentata seedlings sprouting around my big mother plant, but it seems like they have a fairly low germination percentage when I have tried to grow the seeds in my seed trays.

Homer - I got them from NARGS (North American Rock Garden Society) I don't remember how many I got, but the ones that did germinate grew quickly. The plant in the pix is just over one year old, and it's huge!!! I have another still in a pot that is mad at me and is only about 8" high. Must get it into the ground so it will be happier.

If I can get some seeds, I'll try to save some for you. But you'll have to send me a reminder email this fall, 'cause I know for sure I won't remember LOL!
