My hardy cyclamen

This cyclamen hederifolium caught my eye! Not just the flowers alone, but the leaf patterns are a real eye catcher.

Very nice. I'm guessing that one's not hardy here. We put in some c. hederifolium tubers here this spring, but i haven't seen them come up (yet).

They still might come up. They bloom here in late summer and then send up leaves. Keep an eye open for flower buds.

Very nice photo! Tigger - the C. hederifolium is just starting to bloom for me here, leaves will come later in the fall, so don't give up hope for them yet :)

Very nice! My cyclamen coum are just starting to put up leaves. Love that plant! :P

Nice shot of a beautiful plant, David. I have had no luck at all with cyclamen here. My friend had one for several years, and then it perished. Mine lasted one year. I'm just not going to kill anymore of them!

"Cyclamen hederifolium has been known to survive prolonged freezing at temperatures as low as -22 F." Cyclamen by Christopher-Grey Wilson.

The way to kill them is with kindness and too much water! They must be planted where they will remain quite dry over the summer months when they are dormant. Up close to trees or shrubs where there is root competition is a good place and keep them out of the reach of the sprinkler.

David's leaf form is very stunning! Even prettier than the very popular "Christmas Tree" form.

Nice photo and great foliage!
I'm intrigued by the flower color on that one.
Are they bicolored?
I seem to have either pink or white flowers, those look like there is a nice darker purple tint to parts of them.
