Mishima Fukurin Koba X Dostoyevsky

Post by waldo »

Here is the flower of the first seedling from this cross to bloom this year. It bloomed this morning. Ed sent me these seeds also, thanks again Ed.This one isn't showing much red, but I have several of them. This could prove to be a good cross, sieboldii is known to carry red, for example 'Akane'. I am hoping for better red, but we just have to take what the Good Lord gives us and keep trying. The actual plant just has small dark green leaves.

None of that cross survived for me. But I have a bunch of Koriyama X Dostoyevsky. I think Koriyama and Mishima Fukurin Koba might be the same plant - they look the same and have the same flower. A Curly Fries X Dostoyevsky survived - that surprised me - nothing to look at yet.
