Another red margined seedling

Post by waldo »

Just a couple of pictures of an Allegan Fog X capitata Albiflora seedling with the same Beet Salad/First Blush red margin as the Beet Salad X Violetta seedling. The red may be a little bit more difficult to see due to the "fog" type variegation.

I just thought that I would post a few pictures of three seedlings (I have six total) that surprised me. They are from an OP First Blush pod parent and plantaginea pollen. What is surprising is the Beet Salad red edge, I have read that plantaginea resists red petioles. The first picture is the same seedling, three different angles. The second contains two different seedlings, two pic's each.
