I'm lucky to live and garden in the amazing Pacific Northwest, about an hour SE of Seattle in the Mt. Rainier foothills. I grew up living all over the world, but I'm finally home in this gorgeous state. My mother was raised here, so genetically... I'm from Washington LOL!
I have a wonderful DH and twin daughters who think I'm crazy for my gardening, but they know it makes me happy and they even help out every now and then.
I love shade plants, but also grow a lot of other types of perennials, as well as have a big veggie garden, pond, bog with carnivorous plants, and (unfortunately) a large lawn.
Well, in looking through my plant list I'm going to include more than hostas, since I like to trade all kinds of things and not limit myself to just one type of plant.
