Wow...just updated my list today, and counted 700 named varieties. I am amazed!!!!!
Many of them came from secret trades here on the forum, gifts from friends, and trades.
It was impossible to imagine ever having this many different ones when I started out with
a Lancifolia from a friend, and a Royal Standard from a friend-of-a-friend.

LG,
Somehow I don't think you and I have ever ended up in a trade anywhere. Over the course of the last 6 weeks, I've added a bunch more. I don't even want to count!
After two conventions, the hosta swap at Reldon's, and a trip to Hornbakers with friends yesterday...
and there's the trip to Hallson's coming up in just a few days. I'm going to have to update my list again soon. I don't even have them all written down yet!
There's no hope for me!

Linda: yes, very very beautiful garden. I live in a small townhome with very little backyard, 15 feet x 12 feet. So, I don't know how many hostas can i fit. Right now, the 12 varieties i have is crowding. Unless, I want to get rid of the BBQ and the chairs. LOL :D

There's no where to sit in my gardens and there are hostas in pots on the deck most of the time. Hostas rule the yard around here! :D And they are threatening to take over all my pathways too. :( Every where you look is hostas and or other plants. It's plain nuts! Hostas seedlings are sitting all over my potting shed porch too because it won't quit raining and it's not safe for them to be out in the rain as tiny as they are yet. And there are hostas in pots along the neighbor's privacy fence cause there's no room in the gardens. And my daugther has taken 1/3 of my plants to here new property over the past couple years. And I keep giving plants away and donating to plant sales and still they pop up every where. Weedling / Seedlings! OMG!!! :???:

I have mostly given up on my hosta list. :-? I work on it in the winter time. It changes so much. I look at all my old plant labels and think, man allot of hostas have died off around here over the past 12 years too. I did work on new labels early this spring but then just quit.

I donated H 'Little Wonder' in a pretty bright blue ceramic pot to the silent auction at the state mtg of Federated Garden Clubs. It brought $36.00 - pretty good for that crowd.
