Hi,
Since a virus wouldn't burn a hole through a leaf like that I'm thinking fungus, possibly secondary to frost damage. It doesn't really look like virus to me.

That's a relief!
What is your recommended action?
Should I cut off the affected foliage?
I don't like to use chemicals if I don't have to.

You could pluck out the bad looking leaves and throw them away. This would help to keep some of the fungus out of the garden.
