Hi All! I just went to ebay tonight for the first time since last fall (ebay concerning Hosta, that is )
There was a plant on there called Pamela Ann, new intro for this year, 2005 registration pending. The auction ends in 10 hrs. from now, so I snagged the pic to post here for those of you who would miss it. Do you think it looks like a viroused plant, or not? Says it's a sport of Birchwood Parky's Gold.
What do ya think? Virous or no?

Birchwood Parky's Gold is one of the more notorious hostas for having a virus... I saw my first virused BPG 3-4 years ago in a local nursery and told them it was virused, but they refused to pull it off the shelf. Haven't been back to that nursery since...

Yup, Birchwood Parky's Gold was one of the first to have the virus here in the US, and that's what is wrong with these plants. The very first virused plant I ever saw was from BPG, and looked identical to this. That was about 5 years ago.
