Hi Chris,

I had a post on 7/11 and you requested more photos of front and back of my lancifolia. I apoligize for the delay in getting these posted (rain and then procrastination). Attached are 4 postings with front and back views. Let me know what you think.

Hi,

Since a virus wouldn't burn a hole through a leaf like that I'm thinking fungus, possibly secondary to frost damage. It doesn't really look like virus to me.

That's a relief!

What is your recommended action?

Should I cut off the affected foliage?
I don't like to use chemicals if I don't have to.

You could pluck out the bad looking leaves and throw them away. This would help to keep some of the fungus out of the garden.

Thank you again for all of your help!

I'll get out there and do some plucking.
