Is this the bad Virus?

first excuse my bad english.i´m from germany.
I have another one that scares me: my favourite Hosta ( diont know the name) its a small one ( 1 ft)

don´t know wheater it had these marks befor..
I´ve seen them today when i checked my hostas

Is this the Virus?

looks not so bad when not near looking at it:

but nearly looking , you can see this:

this i have seen only on 1 leave of the hole plant:

this i have seen on many leaves of the plant-the older leaves-:

held the leave against sunlight:

please tell me this is not the virus...but i think it is?????

i wonder- how i got the virus.. This Hosta i have for over 7 years i bet. No other of my plants show symptoms- the most i´ve got even as long as this one.. hope that not all the other even also have the virus- cause i never sterilized my knifes or washed my hands after tooking leaves from that one...

Or could it be, that this hosta has got the virus for years and i just never noticed the symptoms??

I'm sorry , Melanie, that you have these infected plants.

I do know that some hostas can be infected for several years before they start to show the visible signs of HVX, so that may be the case with some of you hostas.
P.S. Chris is right....those are excellent pics.
