Blue Umbrellas??

Post by Ed_B »

Blue Umbrellas

This plant emerged about a week and a half ago
4 years old, very cool nights, days not overly warm either,
no rain since April,

I do not remember what it looked like last spring, is this normal, or does it have something?

I have several pictures, and one of the back side of leaf.
Help!
Ed

Hi, Ed...

That just looks like clorosis or nutrient deficiency of some type...many times seedlings can look that way when they are growing really fast.

I think if you gave it some food with iron, such as Milorganite, or something...maybe a little Epsom Salts, it would probably clear up pretty quickly...

Hopefully some experts will chime in, though...

Thanks Charla

I think I hit it with Milorganite, maybe  ,
I know I was out by the daylily beds, thought I hit the Hosta beds too.

How are your daylily seedlings coming?,
I have 4 trays to plant yet myself, and my back already hurts

I agree, this is perfectly normal depending on the weather. Some rain, warmer temps, it should clear up on its own eventually :)

Thanks Chris,

I get so paranoid with that darn virus around.
I would rather dig and chuck than be wrong if need be
