Problem with some of my Hostas

I got a Problem with my newest Hostas- got them last year- and they are not doing well...They get sun for only a few hpurs- but the soil is very dry ...maybe to dry?...This is , what i am talking about-
on my tattoo:- the leaves were OK in spring .
This one seem to melt away-but gets obly sun for2 or 3 hours
Hotspur ist from last year- won´t grow good and gets this marks on the leaves ( since a few weeks)
....is this Boitritys - or something else???

Wow! You are having trouble!

I would say not Botritys (sp?). Maybe a fungus in your soil? Or a combination of being dry and fungus? I think dry because of the edges on the second one and the washed out centers on Tatoo. Are these all planted in the same area?

I'm just guessing, so wait till someone who knows something replies....

yes- they are all planted in the same area- all in dry soil.....
