they had HVX hostas ... now they do not have hostas at all

I didn't know, but this may be a way to tell a nursery who sels infected hostas, they have to do better
Last spring I went to the biggest nursery in my area, just to see what they had, to get new
ideas, had a few plants in the basket, would no bye, just look
Came to the hosta area and found a Sum and S with mayor HVX. Close by were one of the emplyed gardeners, so I told her it was infected and so would all their S andS be. They had to trow them out and contact the suplier... Darvin Plants
Next week or so I came back... picked up the trees, clems, rhodies and other plants I wanted.. all in all $ 600 or so, then coud not resist to check out the hostas.
The very cler HVX hosta was gone, but the rest of them was still there
Found the gardener and told her it was NOT acceptable. She replyed that wisteria and tulips had virus too... and I said, no matter, you do not move or share those plants.... and then my bad temper took over and I followed with... if you sell infected hostas, I can't trust in any plants from here .. then I left the shopping cart and went out.

Last week a frined of a friend told me, they were not seling hostas at all
So here is an idea if you see infected hostas... go fill up the card with expensicve plants.. find the infected hosta, find a employe..and if she/ he do not listen ... drop the cart
If she/ he listen.. feel happy and find the plants you want......
