Frost, HVX or both

Post by thy »

Four of my hostas have unpleasant spots and drawings.

Like yours, it have been a weird spring here.

Robin Hood was the first to come up and even started to unfurl when it was hid by frost. You can still see a few half leaves if you take a close look, but other wise there are nothing to worry about, -others are just small pieces of nothing still all curled up just over the surface :-? Why ? Then four of them, two just beside each other and the other two different places in the garden have yellow markings between the veins and - it is here the problem come have clear zigzag lines alont part of some of the veins.
If it was not for the weird year and the dots I would be sure it was HVX, but.... ?
Please help, can it be frost or ..
Against stupidity the gods themselves struggle in vain.
